Jinkies! It looks like the case of the missing rotary plaque has been solved. A town plaque reported to be missing was actually being cleaned and repaired by town workers.

The Smithtown Rotary Club reported the plaque missing last week with Suffolk County police. The wheel shaped plaque, which is placed on the corner of Lawrence Road and Main Street was actually in the hands of the town's Parks Department.

THREE VILLAGE

New Alternative Education System on Horizon in Three Village

Those two programs currently address the educational needs of students who for one reason or another find it difficult to succeed in traditional classroom settings. Structurally, the Three Village Academy would provide small class sizes; it would rely on collaboration among staff, students and parents; and it would use curriculum and teaching methods “that are relevant to students, complement their life experiences, and build on their strengths.”
