Farmers Market at TFCU
One can find delicious, local food including handmade French crepes, specialty pickles, live crabs, freshly picked strawberries, vegetables, honey, breads, baked goods, flowers and more at the Teachers Federal Credit Union farmers market, open every Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. this summer at 102 Motor Pkwy., Hauppauge.

Summer Crafts Program at A.C. Moore
A free summer crafts program is held every Wednesday between June 26 and August 14, for children ages 4-12 years from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at 359 Nesconset Hwy., Hauppauge. The event supports Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

Health to Hollywood Talent Show
Health to Hollywood is a talent show North Shore-LIJ Health System is having to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project. Each night 10-15 talented acts will take the stage to vie for the most talented of the night. The winners of the three preliminary nights will be invited back to perform in the grand finale on June 27. For information on how to be part of the competition, please contact Lisa
