Thunder Run Benefit For Special Needs Program To Be Held Sunday

You can still register online.

This Sunday, July 10, the Rolling Thunder Special Needs Program will hold the Thunder Run 5K in Hauppauge to raise funds for its activities.

Each year, for the last 18 years, organizers have held the Thunder Run to raise money. As a nonprofit organization that doesn't charge fees, the Rolling Thunder Special Needs Program is only sustained through donations and sponsorships.

The race will begin at 9 a.m. (though a shorter, 1K version for children will start at 8:30 a.m.) All runners are asked to arrive by 8 a.m. at Hidden Pond Park at 660 Terry Road in Hauppauge.
