Hauppauge Agenda: Summer Concerts, Festivals

A look at upcoming events and activities in the Hauppauge area this weekend.

Friends of the Arts presents Christina Fontanelle
Come hear this award winning international recording artist and PBS Host for 
Andrea Bocelli and Il Volo sing popular Italian American songs and some 
opera on Friday at 7 p.m. at the Hauppauge Public Library. The library will raffle off two tickets to Cristina's "Christmas in Italy" show taking place Dec. 7 at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center in NYC.

St. Francis Festival

Enjoy rides, games, food, raffles and entertainment at the St. Francis Festival (29 Clay Pitts Rd., Greenlawn), taking place Thursday through Sunday.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Join Snow White on a magical musical journey as she tries to escape the evil witch at the Smithtown Theater.  Along her journey she comes across the seven dwarfs. Will she find her prince in time? Check out the fairytale classic Snow White Saturdays at 2 p.m. and Sundays at 11 a.m. Six shows only through June 23. Tickets are $15. Kids Night Out 
Kids Night Out takes place at the Mills Pond House June 14 night and includes a class on collage and decoupage. Fun starts at 6 p.m. This week's session includes a lesson on bookmaking.

St. Thomas Strawberry Festival
The St. Thomas Strawberry Festival will take place June 15. The annual Strawberry Festival and Yard Sale at St. Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church 
(29 Brooksite Dr., Smithtown) will feature vendors, food and music.
