Will Sing For Food To Perform NYC Concert For Long Island Cares

The benefit concert will raise money for Long Island's food-insecure population. Long Island Cares is "profoundly grateful" to the band.

HAUPPAUGE, NY — Will Sing For Food is set to host another benefit concert for Long Island Cares, as the band aims to raise money to support the charity's endeavor to end hunger and help those who are food insecure.

The show is scheduled for 8 p.m. Feb. 1. at the Queens Theatre at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, located at 14 United Nations Ave. S, Corona. A complimentary wine and beer reception set for 7 p.m. will precede the show.

Will Sing For Food is in its 14th year of performing to raise funds for Long Island's hungry. The band spans decades and genres, producing a mix of classics and modern favorites.

The 2025 Will Sing For Food Cast features Anna Belanger, Mitchell Belanger, Sarah D'Antonio, Diane Feyrer, Jack Flynn, Joe Griffin, Billy Lucano, Will Lucano, John Mezzo, Andrew Morreale, Bennie Poston, Maura Ryan, Melissa Ryan, Brett Sandgren, Phillip Sharp, Denelle Veny, Mike Veny, Alex Vernice, and Greg Zajac.

"We are excited to bring our event to a larger audience," Melissa Ryan told Patch. "Queens Theatre gives us the advantage of an attentive audience to our mission of helping the food insecure and spreading awareness of the ever present need — all in a beautiful theatre space! The staff have been so welcoming and as with the last eight years, we look forward to partnering with Long Island Cares for another successful event."

The event will be hosted by Long Island Cares, Inc. — The Harry Chapin Food Bank.

"Long Island Cares is profoundly grateful for the continuous and tireless efforts of Will Sing for Food," Theresa Redlein, community development coordinator for Long Island Cares, said. "Their heartfelt commitment and continuous support have been instrumental in helping us provide for those in need and play a crucial role in helping us achieve our mission to alleviate hunger and food insecurity in our community. Together, we are working to make a difference in the lives of those in need."
