Annoying F Train Re-Route Between Boroughs Will Last Until Early November
FASTRACK's latest victims? The five F stops in Downtown Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan.

NEW YORK, NY — Bad news for weeknight F train lovers looking to hop on or hop off anywhere between the Jay Street-Metrotech station in Downtown Brooklyn and the West 4th Street-Washington Square station in the Greenwich Village area of Lower Manhattan.
Between 10 p.m. and 5 p.m. for the next two weeks — from Monday, Oct. 24, through Friday, Oct. 28; then again from Monday, Oct. 31, through Friday, Nov. 4 — the F will be re-rerouted onto the A train tracks between Jay and West 4th.
That means it'll skip the five F stops in between: York Street, East Broadway, Delancey Street, 2nd Avenue and Broadway-Lafayette.

While the F is on the A line, city crews will be checking off "an extensive list of maintenance, cleaning and repair work," according to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) — part of a years-long subway repair project ironically titled FASTRACK.
Here are your F train alternatives over the next two weeks, via the MTA:
