Developer Of Brooklyn Heights Library Site Sued

Banking firm The Carlton Group says Hudson Companies owes it $2.2 million in commissions.

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN – The site of the old Brooklyn Heights library is at the center of a new lawsuit, according to a report.

Real estate banking firm The Carlton Group says Hudson Companies owes it $2.2 million in commissions for setting up financing for a new building at 280 Cadman Plaza West, according to the Real Deal.

Hudson Companies is constructing a $470-million high-rise residential building with a library and stores on the lower floors.

A Hudson Companies spokesman told the Real Deal the case has no merit.
