Horseman Antiques To Close Atlantic Avenue Storefront This Year
The antique shop will close its five-floor storefront on 351 Atlantic Ave. in nine months after 53-years in business, Brownstoner reported.

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY — Horseman Antiques will close its Atlantic Avenue storefront after 53-years in business this year after the owner sold the building for $18 million, Brownstoner reported.
The five-floor antique shop, at 351 Atlantic Ave., plans to close in nine months because owner Donald Gianchetta sold the building to an unnamed investor, according to Brownstoner. The store put deep discounts on its lighting, furniture and artwork as they try to clear out stock before the closing.
Horseman originally opened in 1962 but moved to their Atlantic Avenue location in the 1980s, one of several antique storefronts that littered the block at the time, Brownstoner reported. The shop will still maintain its location in Neptune City, N.J.
