2 Kids Touched Inappropriately At Hicksville Mall: Police
Nassau County police said Hector Castro, 52, grabbed a boy and girl at the Broadway Commons mall.
HICKSVILLE, NY — A Woodbury man was arrested after police said he touched two children inappropriately at the Broadway Commons mall in Hicksville. Hector Castro, 52, approached a 7-year-old boy at the mall and inappropriately grabbed his leg, Nassau County police said. He walked away when confronted by the boy's mother, who saw it happen, police said.
A short time later, Castro approached an 11-year-old girl and touched her inappropriately, too, police said. He fled and was later arrested around 5:30 p.m. Monday.
Castro faces two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He was expected to appear in Nassau County District Court on Tuesday. Investigators said there could be more victims of Castro and asked anyone with information to contact detectives at 516-573-6352.
