5 Hurt In Hicksville Crash

Five people, including two minors, were injured at a crash in Hicksville Monday night, police said.

HICKSVILLE, NY — Five people, including two minors, were injured in a crash in Hicksville Monday night.

The Hicksville Volunteer Fire Department and Nassau County police responded to the crash around 9:30 p.m. after a car and a minivan collided at the intersection of Jerusalem Avenue and West Marie street. The crash sent the car up against a tree and the minivan into a light pole and parking meter.

West Marie Street was closed between Broadway and Jerusalem Avenue as police conducted an investigation.
