Argument Leads To Assault Of Neighbor In Locust Valley: Police
Tiara Gooden was taken into custody on Monday evening, police said.
LOCUST VALLEY, NY — A Locust Valley woman has been arrested for assaulting a neighbor, police said.
An argument escalated on Monday evening regarding their mail and Tiara Gooden, 34, grabbed the victim's screen door and slammed it, police said.
The victim called 911 and police responded, placing Gooden into custody, police said.

Gooden was transported to a local hospital for treatment. While a nurse was assisting her, Gooden became combative, scratched the nurse's hand and bit and officer on the hand, police said.
She is charged with two counts of second-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief. She is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday.
