WESTBURY, NY — A Westbury home was badly damaged from a fire on Sunday morning, police said.

The Evergreen Drive home was fully engulfed by flames when the firefighters responded, police said.

Members of the Westbury Fire Department were assisted by multiple surrounding departments to extinguish the blaze.

No injuries were reported, but the home "sustained extensive damage," police said.

The Red Cross was notified and responded to offer assistance to the displaced residents, police said.
