'Give Me Everything You Have' Man Shouted With Brick In Hand: PD

Malkit Singh Gill was charged with attempted robbery and menacing from the early Sunday incident in Hicksville, police said.

HICKSVILLE, NY — A Hicksville man was arrested and charged for an attempted robbery early Sunday in Hickville, police said.

At 3:30 a.m., a 54-year-old man was walking toward the parking lot of Guru Nanak Darbar of Long Island, located at 11 South Broadway, police said.

As the victim turned the corner, an unknown male approached him and stated: “Give me everything you have!,” while holding a red brick in his hand, police said.

The victim pushed the man, Malkit Singh Gill, 52, and ran from the scene to his home, authorities said.

Two hours later the victim again attempted to visit Guru Nanak Darbar of Long Island and Gill was still there, police said.

The victim called 911 and Gill was placed under arrest without further incident, police said.

He is charged with third-degree attempted robbery and second-degree menancing, police said. He was scheduled for arraignment on Monday.
