Halloween House LI Donating Proceeds To Hurricane Milton Victims

A portion of proceeds this weekend will go to the victims of Hurricane Milton in Florida through The American Red Cross of Central Florida.

HICKSVILLE, NY — Halloween House Long Island is set to donate a portion of the proceeds of every ticket sold this weekend — Friday, Saturday and Sunday — to the victims of Hurricane Milton in Florida through The American Red Cross of Central Florida, the attraction announced in a news release.

The house is located at Broadway Commons, at 358 N. Broadway, Hicksville.

Hurricane Milton hit the Tampa Bay area as a strong Category 3 storm. At least 10 deaths have been confirmed, NBC News reported.

"Our hearts go out to all those impacted by the catastrophic devastation of Hurricane Milton," said Michael Dessart, CEO of Halloween House Long Island, in a news release. "We want to contribute to helping those in need."

Halloween House offers a whimsical Spiderweb Light Tunnel, Beetlejuice Illusion Room, Virtual Reality, Interactive Trivia, Glow in the Dark Room, Fright Show, The Nightmare Before Christmas-inspired room, and the one-of-a-kind Trick or Treat Room.

Halloween House Long Island is committed to being an affordable option for families, according to Dessart.

There is flexibility in the ticket options so guests don’t need to stress about arriving at a specific time; the attraction will accommodate guests whenever they arrive during operating hours, according to the attraction.

Hours of operation are: Monday - Thursday: 5 p.m. to 8 pm; Friday: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Halloween House officially closes on Nov. 3. Birthday parties and corporate events are also available.
