Hicksville Gets Special Visit From New York Islanders

As the result of being selected as one of the winners of a Long Island-wide essay contest about how they demonstrate teamwork and community spirit, students and staff at Lee Avenue Elementary School in the Hicksville Public School District received a special visit from New York Islanders Andrew Ladd and Johnny Boychuk. While proudly wearing blue and orange or their Islanders garb, students met the players, who signed autographs and spoke to them about the importance of teamwork, antibullying and nutrition.
