HICKSVILLE, NY — The Hicksville High School Helping Hands Club donated $300 to the Hicksville Schools Pantry on Oct. 9.

Students led initiatives, such as after-school churro sales and selling club apparel, to raise these funds, the district said.

Old Country Road School Principal Laura McConnell spoke highly of the students. “The students' generous donation to our school pantry truly embodies the spirit of kindness and community," she said. "We thank them for showing that together, we can create a caring environment where everyone feels supported.”
