Hicksville Students Collect Dozens Of Cereal Boxes For Local Pantry
More than 140 cereal boxes were collected by the students of Lee Avenue School.

HICKSVILLE, NY — Students at a Hicksville elementary school completed a food drive this week for local families in need.
Children at the Lee Avenue School spent three weeks collecting cereal for a community pantry.
"This wonderful act of kindness has created a chain reaction, and one act of kindness can have a domino effect!" Principal Christopher Uccellini said.

Nearly 150 cereal boxes were collected by the students. To celebrate their contributions on Jan. 27, the boxes were tipped over in the school's gym like a chain of dominoes.
