Man Buys Range Rover With Stolen Identity In Nassau: Police
Police are looking for information regarding this crime.

Police are looking to identify the person who used a stolen identity to purchase a vehicle valued at $61,000 from a Nassau County car dealership last month.
According to authorities, a man entered the Gran Prix Subaru Dealership, located at 500 S. Broadway, and purchased a 2014 Range Rover using a fraudulent New Jersey driver's license at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27.
The dealership did a credit check and approved the financing of the vehicle. The man took the vehicle and left the dealership.

The bank notified the dealership several days later that the $61,000 vehicle was purchased with a stolen identity, police say.
Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or the Second Squad at 516-573-6256. All callers will remain anonymous.
