Man Struck, Killed By LIRR Train In Nassau: MTA
The 60-year-old victim was not authorized to be on the tracks, MTA police said.

HICKSVILLE, NY — A man was struck and killed by a Long Island Rail Road train on Tuesday morning near the Hicksville station, a spokesperson for the MTA said.
The person, identified as Hector Collazo, 60, of Hicksville, was not authorized to be on the tracks, MTA police said.
He was hit by the train at approximately 9:40 a.m. at the New South Road crossing, the MTA said.

Collazo was pronounced dead at the scene.
No criminality is suspected, the MTA said.
