• Car slams into Tammy's Candy Kettle, driver seriously hurt (tapinto.net) — A serious crash on NYS Route 7 has forced Tammy’s Candy Kettle, a long-time Hoosick business, to close indefinitely while the badly damaged building is gutted and repaired. The driver, a Bennington resident, was airlifted to Albany Medical Center, while the owners and a customer escaped injury. Neighbors have already raised nearly $6,000 through GoFundMe to help the Morgans recover.
