1 Hurt After Car Crashes Into Pole In Greenlawn

One person was injured after a car crashed into a pole in Greenlawn on Friday morning.

According to fire officials, the single-vehicle crash occurred on Park Avenue near Eagle Place at 12:24 a.m.

The Greenlawn Fire Department responded to the scene and medics transported the injured person to Huntington Hospital.

Fire crews secured the vehicle and put down speedy dry for fluids on the roadway.

Units were under the direction of Third Assistant Chief Peter Miller assisted by Capt. Joe Pace and Duty Officer Lt. Nick DAmico.
