4 Hurt, Including Child, In Huntington Station Crash
Responders had to rescue a woman who was trapped in an overturned SUV, officials say.
Four people, including a child, were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Huntington Station on Sunday afternoon, according to the Huntington Community First Aid Squad.
Responders arrived to the crash, on Oakwood Road and Wexford Street, to find a 70-year-old woman trapped in an overturned SUV at 12:43 p.m.
The Huntington Manor Fire Department responded, stabilized the vehicle and removed the windshield and roof so EMS crews could extricate the woman. She was taken to Huntington Hospital to be treated for neck and back injuries.

A man and woman in their 40s and a 3-year-old child in the second vehicle were taken to Huntington Hospital. The man and woman had minor injuries and the child, who was restrained in a rear child seat, was transported to be evaluated.
Huntington Community First Aid Squad responded with two ambulances, an ALS First Responder, Sunday Day Captain and the HCFAS Medical Director.
