Car Crashes Into Huntington Station Building

The driver was attempting to make a left turn on Wednesday afternoon, the Huntington Community First Aid Squad said.

A driver attempted to make a left turn but instead crashed into a Huntington Station building on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Huntington Community First Aid Squad.

The 43-year-old woman driving a 2004 Toyota sedan was traveling southbound on Lockwood Road and attempted to make a left turn, but instead drove into the corner of Three Stars Restaurant, located at the intersection of West Hills Road and W. 19th Street, at 1:59 p.m., HCFAS says.

The driver did not appear to have any injuries, but was taken to Huntington Hospital as a precaution.

Another vehicle involved in the crash, a 2007 Toyota, was traveling westbound on West Hills Road when the accident occurred. A second HCFAS ambulance was called to the scene, but the 48-year-old man refused medical care.

The Huntington Manor Fire Department also responded to the scene.
