Cold Spring Harbor HS Production Of 'Mamma Mia!' Delights Audiences

COLD SPRING HARBOR, NY — Cold Spring Harbor High School’s talented cast and crew delivered an unforgettable theatrical experience with their production of "Mamma Mia!" on Feb. 7 through Feb. 9, the school district announced.

Audiences were transported to a picturesque Greek island as they followed the heartwarming story of a mother, a daughter and three potential fathers — all set to the iconic music of ABBA.

The production captured the joy, romance and excitement that have made "Mamma Mia!" a worldwide sensation.

Under the direction of Melissa McLees, students showcased their exceptional talents, bringing energy and passion to the stage.

Many of the performers discovered their love for theater at Lloyd Harbor and West Side elementary schools, and their dedication has been recognized through accolades such as NYSSBA participation, Hunting-Tony Awards, and All-County and All-State honors. For some students, this production marked their first high school performance, while for graduating seniors, it was a memorable final bow before heading off to college.
