Cops: Doctor's Office Burglarized, PSEG Phone Scam

Here are incidents reported in the Huntington area, according to Suffolk County Police.

Wednesday, Feb. 21

At noon, police reported a grand larceny on New York Avenue in Huntington Station in which a caller claimed a person owed money to PSEG. The complainant brought Green Dot gift cards and gave the caller the numbers.

At 11:20 p.m., police reported reckless endangerment in which a man driving a 2017 Chevrolet on Elwood Road in Centerport heard “bangs.” He inspected the vehicle and discovered dents. Read more here.

At 2 p.m., police reported a burglary in which someone broke a window at a doctor’s office, located at 44 Green St. in Huntington, and stole two Cablevision access cards.
