Cops: Grandma Tricked By Phone Scammer, Office Building Burglary
Here are incidents reported in the Huntington area, according to Suffolk County Police.
Friday, March 16
At 1 p.m., police reported grand larceny on Folly Field Court in Cold Spring Harbor in which a phone scammer called an elderly woman and claimed her grandson was arrested. The woman gave the scammer money, police say.

At 3 p.m., police reported a burglary in which someone burglarized a renovated office building, located a 5 Cuba Hill Road in Greenlawn, and stole construction tools.
At 3:40 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Reddy Place in Huntington. Police said the incident was domestic.
