Cops: Home Intentionally Set On Fire In Huntington Station
Here are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area, according to Suffolk County Police.

Tuesday, July 4
At 8 p.m., police reported grand larceny in which a 2009 Mercedes was stolen from in front of a house on E 9th Street in Huntington Station. Police say the keys were in the vehicle.
Thursday, July 6
At 11 a.m., police reported a burglary in which someone entered a house and stole numerous items on 4th Avenue in Huntington Station.

Saturday, July 8
At 2:14 p.m., police reported a house fire that detectives believe was intentionally set on Alpine Way in Huntington Station. No injuries were reported. The incident was reported as arson.

At 8:13 p.m., Greg Thompson, 48, of the Bronx, was charged with third-degree robbery and criminal possession of an anti-security item in Huntington Station. Police say he entered Abercrombie and Fitch in the Walt Whitman Mall, pushed someone and stole cologne. He possessed a shopping bag lined with metal foil, police say.
