Einstein's Attic Opens In Huntington: 'We Certainly Have Big Shoes To Fill!'
The toy shop is opening where Little Switzerland once was. "We are looking forward to seeing all of our friends and meeting many new ones."

HUNTINGTON, NY — Einstein's Attic has opened in Huntington. The toy shop is at 267 Main Street — formerly Little Switzerland.
"We certainly have big shoes to fill!" owner Lori Badanes said in a news release.
She has owned a second Einstein's Attic in Northport Village for 11 years.

"Owning a small Business in the Village of Northport and now Huntington is hard work, and wonderful," she said. "Every time the door opens and the store is filled with the sound of little voices- excitement is in the air! Every time a child stops to look in our window there's a sense of fun and wonder that is contagious."
The shop carries baby gifts, including layette and baby clothing. The self-proclaimed dedicated Jellycat retailer carries a large selection of the soft, cuddly toys.

Badanes plans for her store to be part of the community.
"Our goal at Einstein’s Attic has always been to connect and support our community, neighbors helping neighbors ― friends helping friends. It’s truly my honor to have a platform to contribute and be a part of something bigger than myself. We plan to do the same in Huntington."

Einstein's Attic plans to provide the same quality, tradition and services that customers loved Little Switzerland for while adding its own surprises, Badanes said.
"We are looking forward to seeing all of our friends and meeting many new ones."
Badanes said her store got traffic from Cold Spring Harbor, Lloyd Harbor, Huntington and Centerport.
Badanes's sister also owns an Einstein's Attic in Madison, Connecticut.
