There will be a marine touch tank, face painting, pet adoption, paper shredding, beekeeping demonstrations, music, and more.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Family Earth Day is set to return to Huntington, the town announced.

The community event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 21 at Manor Park Farm, at 210 Manor Road, Huntington. It is meant to foster environmental awareness and action among all ages by having people participate in a range of activities.

"Family Earth Day reminds us that small actions can make a big difference in preserving our planet for future generations," the Town of Huntington stated. "Whether it's planting trees, reducing waste, or advocating for policy changes, every effort counts towards building a more sustainable and resilient world. As stewards of the Earth, it is our collective responsibility to nurture and protect our planet. By coming together as families, we can instill values of environmental consciousness in our children and empower them to become agents of positive change."
