Funeral services have been scheduled for Carmen Melissa Gotay and Ray Vega, who were killed Saturday in a car crash.
She was 17 years old and a student at Huntington High School.
She was a passenger in a car that struck a tree on Walt Whitman Road in Melville early Saturday morning. Vega, 18, was the driver.
She was born Dec. 11, 1995 in Bay Shore.
Visitation is set for Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at M.A. Connell Funeral Home in Huntington Station.
The funeral is scheduled for Tuesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Massapequa Park, followed by burial at St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx.
Visitation for Ray Vega is scheduled for Tuesday, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., also at M. A. Connell Funeral Home. He graduated last week from Huntington High School, where he was a member of the spring and winter track teams. He was born Dec. 17, 1994.
The Huntington school district will have grief counselors at the high school Monday from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. and 2-4 p.m.
