Voters Approve Huntington Budget, Elect Trustees
Residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.
Huntington residents approved a 2018-19 school budget on Tuesday.
The $129,812,991 budget passed, according to the school district. The budget is a 2.28 percent spending increase over the current year and it comes with a 2.68 percent tax levy increase.
Residents also elected Pass Christine Biernacki, Tom DiGiacomo and Lynda D'Anna to the Huntington Board of Education.
