Huntington Police Blotter: Man Accused Of Selling Cocaine Arrested

ALSO: A person was scammed out of money by a hacker who remotely broke their iPad, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from Feb. 3 through Feb. 9.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Feb. 7: Raymond Kaisen, 60, of Huntington, was accused of selling cocaine for cash on multiple occasions between Sept. 2 and Jan. 29 on Briarfield Lane in Huntington, police said. Kaisen was found in possession of cocaine on Feb. 7, police said. He was arrested and charged with three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: narcotic drug, one count of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia: scales.

Incidents

  • Feb. 8: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in Huntington at 9:45 a.m. Someone washed a check at 5 p.m. on Dec. 30, police said.
  • Feb. 7: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Depot Road in Huntington Station at 3:35 p.m. A vehicle was stolen after its keys were left inside it, police said. The vehicle was later recovered, police said.
  • Feb. 5: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Koster Court in Huntington Station at 1 p.m. Someone was contacted through an ad on an iPad, police said. A pop up caused the iPad to lock, police said. A phone number appeared, and the person was instructed to call it, police said. The person gave remote access to their iPad, which provided the scammer with bank information, police said. The scammer physically collected money at the Huntington Station resident's house, police said.
