Huntington Police Blotter: Man Steals $1.3K Worth Of Perfume

ALSO: Person steals packages from home's porch; and hammers stolen from The Home Depot, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from Jan. 13 through Jan. 19.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Jan. 17: Tsiah Cook, 28, of Staten Island, stole $1,300 worth of perfume from Sephora at Walt Whitman Mall in Huntington Station around 7:20 p.m. Oct. 12, police said. He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property greater than $1,000.

Incidents

  • Jan. 17: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Flower Hill Road in Huntington at 5:15 p.m. Someone stole packages containing a watchband, shoes and a belt from a home's front porch, police said.
  • Jan. 14: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on New York Avenue in Huntington Station at 5:24 p.m. A person stole rotary hammers valued at $1,398 from The Home Depot in Huntington Station, police said.
