Huntington Police Blotter: Shop Broken Into After Door's Window Smashed
ALSO: Two vehicles stolen; and theft at The Home Depot, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from Dec. 30 through Jan. 5.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

- Jan. 4: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on New York Avenue in Huntington Station at 8:37 a.m. A man stole a vehicle from a parking lot after the vehicle was left running with the keys inside it, police said.
- Jan. 1: Burglary (third-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in Huntington Station at 4 a.m. Someone smashed the front door window of Detoxx Bar and stole items, police said.
- Dec. 31: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on New York Avenue in Huntington at 12:12 p.m. A man and woman entered The Home Depot around 5:45 p.m. on Dec. 30, police said. The duo loaded items into separate carts and left the store without paying, police said. They drove away in a dark-colored sedan, police said.
- Dec. 31: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on New York Avenue in Huntington Station at 7:39 p.m. A black 2016 Nissan Rogue was stolen after it was left running with the keys inside, police said.
