Huntington Police Blotter: Woman Breaks Home's Dresser, Steals Juice

She faces a burglary charge, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from April 29 through May 5.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • May 2: Colleen Muller, 37, who is homeless, broke a dresser and drank apple juice belonging to someone else at a home on Jones Lane in Huntington Station at 9:45 p.m. May 2, police said. She was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary: dwelling and four bench warrants.
  • April 30: Miriam Zuniga, 48, of West Islip, was accused of lying about her name on a motor vehicle form on Jericho Turnpike in Huntington on Feb. 21, police said. The form was an offer application for a permit of a motor vehicle, police said. She was arrested and charged with first-degree false instrument: intent to defraud.
