Huntington Police Blotter: Huntington Station Resident Scammed
ALSO: A woman reported that a check was fraudulently cashed, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from March 10 through March 16.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

- March 14: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Aberdeen Drive in Huntington at 4:16 p.m. A woman reported that a check was fraudulently cashed, police said.
- March 14: Identity theft (first-degree) and grand larceny (fourth-degree) were reported on Ellen Place in Huntington Station at noon. Someone received an email that they believed was from PayPal, police said. The person called a number and gave the scammer their banking information, police said.
