Meet The Candidates Night For 10th Assembly District
Get to know the candidates looking to be elected to the 10th Assembly District. The event is Wednesday night.
A Meet The Candidates night will be held on Wednesday night at the South Huntington Library for the NYS 10th Assembly District special election.
Residents will be able to learn the views of candidates Janet Smitelli, a republican, and Steve Stern, a democrat. The event takes place from 7 to 9 p.m.
Town of Huntington Supervisor Chad Lupinacci previously served as assemblyman in the 10th district. The candidates are looking to take over his seat.

The special election will be held on Tuesday, April 24.
The South Huntingotn Library is located at 145 Pidgeon Hill Road in Huntington Station.

The League of Women Voters will also hold a workshop at the library on how others can learn to register voters from 5 to 6 p.m.
