The bank will be located at the only pedestrian crosswalk on New York Avenue and is opposite the Elm Street municipal parking lot.

The lease, arraigned by Melville-based Five Point Real Estate, was secured by terminating the leases of the two surrounding rental tenants early: Lot 356 and Knot of This World. These two short-term tenants were below-market leases and a ā€œburdenā€ to NFCU’s new space, Five Points Real Estate says.

Editor's Note: The Huntington location will not be NEFCU's twelfth Long Island branch. There are currently 16 NEFCU location on Long Island, and two more are expected to open prior to the opening of the Huntington location, a spokesperson said. Also, NEFCU no longer goes by the Nassau Educators name. Patch regrets these errors.
