Huntington-Based Scoop Squad Solutions Offers Pet Waste Removal On LI: 'It’s Different'
"We want to be a service that helps you buy back some of your time," a co-founder said.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Scoop Squad Solutions launched its business on Thursday. The Huntington-based company offers pet waste removal services.
The business offers cleanups in yards between Port Washington and St. James on both the North and South shores of Long Island, said co-founders Thomas Pinto and Jeris Hernandez.
Scoop Squad Solutions offers services once a week or however many times the customer would like them to remove waste from their lawn.

"We don’t bother the homeowner," Hernandez told Patch. "We don’t bother them at all. We set up a way they want us to access the property every single time. We come in, and we go."
People can book appointments on the Scoop Squad Solutions website, DMs through its Instagram page, or by calling/texting 516-928-1757. The business offers free quotes.

"With the complexities of life and the busy day-to-day that everyone on Long Island typically goes through, we want to be a service that helps you buy back some of your time," Hernandez said.
Pinto said the service will give people the ability to do other things while their yard gets cared for.
Pinto launched his first business, The Suds Boss, a mobile vehicle-detailing business, in 2020. He offers detailing, ceramic coatings, and more. Pinto said he loves customer service and interacting with his clients, which made him want to start a second business with Hernandez.
"This was an interesting one, because it’s different," Pinto said of Scoop Squad Solutions. "You don’t really come across this service often. I figured let’s give it a shot."
The business scoops yards every day in all weather conditions using custom-made poop scoopers that work in the sun, rain, snow, and ice, according to the website. It offers a pay-as-you-go service, as well as automatic payments. People can change or cancel service at any time.
