• Crane hit bridge in upper Manhattan causing major delays for No.1 subway line (abc7ny.com) — If you rely on the 1 train to reach or leave Inwood, expect lingering delays after an MTA crane struck the Broadway Bridge over Spuyten Duyvil Creek, damaging the structure and disrupting uptown service. Trains have been rerouted past Dyckman Street up to 242nd Street–Van Cortlandt Park, forcing riders into long, roundabout trips while crews work to safely remove the stuck equipment and investigate the mishap.
