80 Degree Temperatures, String Of Sunny Skies This Week: LI Weather

LONG ISLAND, NY — After a weekend of exceedingly high heat indexes, Long Island can expect typical summer weather this week.

Temperatures will mostly stay in the 80s this week, with Monday having a high of 83 degrees.

Rain is predicted to only visit on Monday and Thursday nights, and Friday afternoons, leaving Long Islanders to not worry about their pool or beach days.
