LONG ISLAND, NY — Missed the beach this weekend? You're in luck.

Summer may unofficially be over, but this week's forecast proves it isn't finished with Long Island.

Labor Day Weekend's hot temperatures will only continue, with a high of 89 on Tuesday. Wednesday will be the hottest day of the week, with a high of 90 degrees.

Rain? We don't know them. No need to reach for the umbrellas, as showers won't show up again until the weekend
