Seven faculty members were granted tenure at the Islip Board of Education's meeting last month.

ISLIP, NY — Several Islip faculty members are celebrating a career milestone.
The Islip Board of Education and central administration announced the tenure of seven faculty members on Monday, marking a significant achievement in their educational careers.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the district was unable to recognize the recipients publicly in the spring and took the opportunity this fall to celebrate the occasion.
