Overnight Closures Coming To Sagtikos State Parkway In Town Of Islip

TOWN OF ISLIP, NY — Overnight closures are coming to the northbound Sagtikos State Parkway in the Town of Islip, the New York State Department of Transportation announced Friday.

The single lane closures, between the Southern State Parkway and Exit S3 (Pine Aire Drive), are slated to begin Wednesday to facilitate concrete pavement repairs. Additionally, one lane on the Exit 41A ramps from the eastbound and westbound Southern State Parkway to the northbound Sagtikos State Parkway will be closed.

Closures are scheduled to take place Sunday through Thursday nights from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning for approximately one month, weather permitting.
