John Lorenzo Wins Town of Islip Council District 4

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Town of Islip residents took to the polls on Tuesday, to vote for Islip Council, 4th District.
With no districts left to be counted, according to unofficial Suffolk County Board of Elections results, the winner was incumbent John Lorenzo, with 10,388 votes, or 63.92 percent.
Democratic candidate Thomas E Murray III obtained with 5,839 votes, or 35.93 percent.
