Possible Showers On Halloween Night: LI Weekly Weather Forecast

LONG ISLAND, NY — If you're going trick-or-treating on Halloween night, be sure to bring an umbrella.

In what seems like a never-ending pattern, Long Island will say goodbye to October with a rainy exit.

Monday will receive a 40 percent chance of showers, continuing into the night.

Tuesday, Halloween, will be mainly sunny during the day, but will have a 50 percent chance of showers at night.

Aside from a 30 percent chance of showers on Wednesday, the beginning of November will be clear and sunny, with highs of mid 50s.

Here is the full weekly forecast from the National Weather Service:

Monday: A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 5 p.m. Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 63. West wind 6 to 9 mph.

Monday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 8 p.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 43. Northwest wind 10 to 13 mph.

(Halloween)Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 52. North wind 7 to 10 mph.

Tuesday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 39. Northeast wind 3 to 8 mph.

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers before 2 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 51. North wind 9 to 11 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 35.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 52.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 42.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 45.
