LONG ISLAND, NY — What's scarier than Halloween weekend on Long Island? Another possible rainy weekend.

After seven consecutive weekends of rain, Long Islanders are pleading for a dry Saturday and Sunday.

The last weekend of October will mainly stay dry, with a high of 72 degrees on Friday and a 74 degrees on Saturday. However, a slight chance of rain is predicted for Sunday, with a 30 percent chance of showers.

Rain is also predicted for Sunday night, with a 40 percent chance of precipitation.
