LONG ISLAND, NY — Soak up the sun these next two days, Long Island.

Thursday will feel like Spring, with a high of 69 degrees. Sunny skies will also be present on Friday.

But rain will return this weekend, with a 60 percent chance of precipitation on Saturday afternoon.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 64. Northwest wind around 11 mph.

Friday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 50. North wind 6 to 8 mph.

Saturday: A slight chance of showers before 2 p.m., then rain likely after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60. North wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Saturday Night: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a low around 49. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
