Town Of Islip To Distribute Free COVID-19 Rapid Tests
The tests will be given out on March 4 and 5, Supervisor Angie Carpenter says.
ISLIP, NY — Free COVID-19 rapid testing kits will be distributed to Islip residents next weekend at two locations, according to Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
The kits will be available for distribution on Friday, March 4 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturday, March 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
They will be distributed in the parking lot between Islip Town Hall located at 655 Main Street, Islip and the Oconee Diner just east of Town Hall.

Each COVID-19 test kit will contain two tests. Families will receive two test kits each, totaling four total tests per family.
There are 2,500 kits allotted by Suffolk County, a release said, and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
