Argument Leads To Deadly Stabbing In Jackson Heights, Police Say
A man stabbed another man amid an argument that got physical, the NYPD said.

JACKSON HEIGHTS, NY — A man stabbed and killed another in Jackson Heights Thursday night amid an argument that turned violent, police said. A verbal dispute between the two unidentified men got physical around 9:40 p.m. at the corner of Roosevelt Avenue and 80th Street, the NYPD said.
Police say the victim was found at the scene with stab wounds to his upper torso. He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center and pronounced dead there, the NYPD said.
The suspected stabber, 32, was apprehended at the scene and taken to the same hospital with what appeared to be an accidental wound to his hand, the NYPD said. A knife was also recovered from the scene, police said.

The stabbing is still under investigation, police said. Police have not yet disclosed the charges against the suspect.
